Lathi Drill sends a message of ‘Police Readiness’

Mysore/Mysuru: The City Police yesterday conducted a Lathi Drill to instil confidence among the public and send a message about the Police readiness to maintain law and order to ensure peace in the society.

Hundreds of personnel attached to Chamundi Commando Wing and City Armed Reserve (CAR) Police, wielding the lathis, took part in the drill organised at Gandhi Square and Yaraganahalli Circle in Alanahalli Police Station limits.

Speaking to media persons, DCP (Crime and Traffic) K.S. Sundar Raj said, “With the drill, awareness is being created among the public about People Friendly Policing.”
