Mysuru: In another incident, a 21 year old Law student reportedly committed suicide by jumping into Kukkarahalli Lake, which incident came to light this morning.

Nandan Gowda (21), a resident of Saraswathipuram in city, is the deceased.

Nandan Gowda, who was studying LLB degree at a city Law college, is suspected to have jumped into Kukkarahalli Lake on late Thursday evening.

His body was found floating in Kukkarahalli Lake this morning by joggers, who informed the Police.

The jurisdictional Saraswathipuram Police rushed to the spot and fished out the body from the lake.

The cause of suicide was not immediately known.

The Police, who have registered a case in this regard, shifted the body to MMC&RI mortuary for post-mortem.
