Mysore/Mysuru: Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) is the global foundation dedicated to empowering Lions and Leos service so that it can bring new possibilities to life together.

Worldwide, LCIF grants and special programmes help Lions and Leos realise their inspiring and ambitious service projects.

During 2024-25, Lions District 317G with Ln. N. Subramanya as District Governor had applied to LCIF for a matching grant towards providing a fully equipped mobile dental clinic vehicle costing nearly Rs.88 lakh to JSS Dental College in Mysuru.  LCIF, in its Board of Trustees meeting held recently in Chicago, has approved the same.

District Governor 2024-25 Ln. N. Subramanya along with Past District Governor Ln. M.N.Jaiprakash, Principal of JSS Dental College Dr. Dhakashaini, Vice-Principal Dr. Jaishankar and Dr. Thippeswamy handed over  the LCIF matching grant approval certificate for Rs.88 lakh to Suttur Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji in Suttur Mutt towards providing the mobile dental clinic vehicle.
