Leading Fireman Parashivamurthy receives CM’s Gold Medal

Mysore/Mysuru: M. Parashivamurthy, Leading Fireman at Fire and Emergency Services Department, Mysuru, has received Chief Minister’s Gold Medal for the year 2024. He received the Medal from Home Minister Dr. G. Parameshwar in Bengaluru recently (see pic).

Parashivamurthy, presently serving at Bannimantap Fire Station, was conferred the annual medal in recognition of his honest service in the Department.

A native of Basallihundi in Nanjangud taluk in the district, Parashivamurthy is the son of B.S. Mahadevappa. He had his education at Devanur and later joined Fire and Emergency Services Department.

He was promoted as a Leading Fireman in the year 2018 and holds the credit of taking part in many rescue operations. He has been a recipient of many awards, with the CM’s Gold Medal topping the list of awards.
