The Department of Oral Pathology and Microbiology, JSS Dental College and Hospital, Mysuru, had organised a guest lecture titled ‘Career Paths beyond Dentistry’ for Under-Graduate students at its premises in city recently.

Dr. Veena Ramanna, Global Program Director with Asiatic Clinical Research and alumnus of JSS Dental College, was the resource person.

The students were enlightened about the innumerable avenues available following graduation such as clinical research, pharma, management, media, medical law, insurance, medical administration, government, medical devices, occupational health, communication, marketing & informatics, consulting, entrepreneurship, medical writing and artificial intelligence.

Principal Dr. Anil Kumar Gujjari presided. Vice-Principal, Dr. M.R. Dhakshaini and HoD of Oral Pathology and Microbiology Dr. Usha Hegde were present.
