Mysore/Mysuru: As part of the monthly series of  lectures  on health and human care for senior citizens, the Elder Citizens Council, Jayalakshmipuram, Mysuru, has invited  Dr. H.N. Gopalakrishna, Retired Professor  of Pharmacology, as the guest speaker for March.

He will conduct an awareness-cum-interaction on ‘Cautious approach required on administration of medicines’ particularly for senior citizens,  to avoid any adverse effects.

Dr. Gopalakrishna has worked at Kasturba Medical College and A.J. Institute of Medical College, Mangaluru.

  Dr. H.M. Nagaraju, President of the Council, will preside over the lecture programme to be held on Mar. 4 (Monday) at 5 pm at the Saraswathi Samudaya Bhavana, Elder Citizens Council premises,  Jayalakshmipuram.  

Health talk for senior citizens  is generally conducted by the Council on every first Monday of every month.
