Hunsur: A goat, that was left for grazing in a forest area has been killed by a leopard near Hosur Gate in the taluk.
The goat belonging to Sannakalaiah was left for grazing in the forest area when the leopard attacked and killed it causing a loss of Rs. 10,000 to Sannakalaiah.
Forest officials, who visited the spot, conducted an inspection.
Sanakallaiah told the Forest officials that leopard menace was increasing in the area and urged the officials to trap the leopards and relocate them at the earliest.
