Leopard trapped at Hunsur: Shifted to Nagarahole

Hunsur: The leopard, which had given sleepless nights for the residents of Kallamanti village in the taluk, was finally trapped in a cage, kept by Forest Department on Sunday night.

The leopard had strayed into a farm belonging to one Ramaswamy on Saturday and had devoured a pet dog.

Ramaswamy had informed the incident to the Forest Officials, who had kept the cage in the farm, which trapped the leopard.

RFO Shantakumar and staff arrived at the spot and got the leopard shifted to Nagarahole Forest.
