Hunsur: A leopard, which had created panic at Hallikoppal village, Gavadagere hobli in Hunsur taluk, was trapped by the Forest Department personnel in a cage this morning.
The leopard had killed a cow in the village yesterday and had fled from the spot. Soon, the Forest Department personnel, who arrived at the spot, placed a cage and had kept the carcass of the inside it to lure the leopard.
Today morning, villagers, who went near the cage were shocked to see the leopard trapped inside and informed the Forest Department officials who arrived at the spot to take the leopard.
