Leopard with cubs spotted

August 21, 2018

Mysuru:  A leopard with two cubs was spotted under a big tree in Preethi Layout near Srirampura early this morning at 5.30. A milkman who was on his rounds distributing milk sachets spotted the leopard and informed another bike-borne person on the road who also saw them.

Later, speaking to Star of Mysore, milk vendor Abhishek, a resident of Ramakrishnagar who runs Nandini Milk parlour in Preethi Layout, said that he saw the leopard and the cubs and was so scared that he did not even dare take a photograph on his mobile. However, as soon as the news spread, the Forest Department was informed. The Department staff and officials reached the spot but are yet to trace the leopard.
