Mysore/Mysuru: Members of Akhila Karnataka Arunthathiyar Mahasabha staged a protest in front of the MCC office yesterday, demanding that the State Government get the Dasara celebrations inaugurated by a Pourakarmika this time.

Protestors also urged the administration to provide a separate 3 percent inner reservation for Pourakarmikas, as done in the neighbouring State Tamil Nadu.

Mahasabha State President R. Krishna, Hon. President Nagaraj, Gen. Secretary Ravannaiah, District President H. Dharmaraj and others were present.
