On Adichunchanagiri Road, near RMP Colony and behind Banashankari Temple, there is a Park. It is a known fact that it has not been developed for many years for the best reasons known to MUDA/ MCC.

First there were four flood- light posts. Recently another four such lights were added. Now attempts are made to erect four more such light posts. Two pits are seen dug for putting up two little toilets. Two plastic water tanks are also kept there.

Is it not known to the authorities concerned that such illegal activities should not be allowed? Is it a Government project or being done by vested interests?

The said park is used by nearby residents for morning/evening walk. Children used to play there very happily. Why such lung space is allowed for commercial activities? Will it not give room for eve-teasing and chain-snatching activities? I am surprised as to how this has not caught the attention of local MLA/ Corporator?

I request the MLA/ MUDA/MCC/ Corporator to give urgent attention, stop the illegal activities and ALLOW THE PARK TO BE USED AS PARK and develop it by planting saplings so that people can use it properly.
