Let UoM hold the Convocation virtually

August 11, 2021

The University of Mysore (UoM) had sent intimations to successful graduates, post-graduates and Ph.D research scholars to attend the Convocation scheduled on 13th August 2021 and get their certificates and medals. In the wake of covid, it was postponed and this has left a lot of students in the lurch.

Throughout the world, all international and national seminars and even meetings are being held virtually. The University also can think of conducting the Convocation virtually and send the certificates by post.

Wherever addresses are not available, they can issue notification calling for addresses. By doing so students who are in need of certificates to pursue their higher education and job will be benefited. I hope the UoM authorities will take a decision in favour of the student fraternity.
