Let us salute our City Police

September 15, 2023

Sir,

News reports on several cases of miscreants committing crimes which the Police have solved in double quick time are being published in Star of Mysore. The latest is the case of arresting Jameel Khan, who would extort money from senior citizens, faking injury as a result of the elderly citizens driving the car causing imaginary accidents (Star of Mysore dated Sept.13 titled “Man who extorted money from senior citizen arrested”).

Elsewhere it was reported of Police having busted serial car tyres lifting cases by nabbing three persons who were involved in the crime. Considering the heavy number of various types of crimes, the number of Police personnel is not enough. Yet it is admirable that with the help of technology, the Mysuru Police are doing a great work; we must salute them.
