Let’s keep Mysuru clean!

September 27, 2019

Sir,

It is very important that we realise the importance of keeping our city clean, especially with “Nada Habba” Dasara round the corner. A lot of tourists throng into the city from different parts of the country and they tend to litter in public places. It is not only the duty of Mysuru City Corporation but also the general public  and we citizens should ensure that the city is kept clean.

Tourists from all over the world visit Mysuru to witness the grandeur of Dasara and Jumboo Savari. Even though we are the cleanest city in the State, it is essential that we do our bit in order to achieve the dream of becoming the cleanest city in the country once again.

With October 2 not far away, which marks the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, it will be a fitting tribute to the Father of our Nation.
