Life Certificate: Seniors may use Jeevan Pramaan app

November 15, 2024

Sir,

This refers to the letter by K. Chandrahas (SOM dated Nov. 11) where he has expressed genuine concern regarding the inconvenience faced by senior citizens in submitting their Life Certificates.

In this context, I wish to inform that the Government of India has introduced ‘The Jeevan Pramaan Life Certificate app’, a digital application that enables pensioners to submit their annual Life Certificates digitally.

The app is user-friendly and allows easy submission of Life Certificates from the comfort of one’s home, eliminating the need for physical visits to pension disbursing agencies or banks.
