Mysuru: The installation ceremony of Lions Club of Mysore North, under Lions International District 317G, was held at a hotel in Hebbal recently.

Ln. M. Vandana Prasad, wife of Past District Governor and Charter Member Ln. M.V. Devi Prasad, was installed as President along with her team of office-bearers for 2026-27, by Past Multiple Council Chairman and Installing Officer Ln. Dr. Nagaraj V. Bairy.

The other new office-bearers are: Ln. C. Mangala – Immediate Past President, Ln. S. Ravi –  First Vice-President, Ln. H.J. Parimala – Secretary, Ln. K. Savitha – Treasurer, Ln. M.V. Devi Prasad – Club Administrator, Ln. Dr. Asha Krupa – Membership Chairperson, Ln. Asif Khan – LCIF Chairperson, Ln. Syed Ismail – Service Chairperson and Ln. K. Basave Gowda – Leadership Chairperson. Ln. Umrana Ismail, Ln. Kale Gowda, Ln. Netaji Rao Tawade, Ln. M. Manohar, Ln. Sharada Kale Gowda and Ln. Shyla Basave Gowda –  Directors.

Narasimharaja Constituency MLA and senior member of the club, Ln. Tanveer Sait and Chamaraja MLA K. Harishgowda were the chief guests.

Past District Governor Ln. N. Subramanya inducted five new members — R. Ravi, Divya Ravi, H. Dharmesh, H.D. Suvarna and Ananda Krishna —into the Club.

As part of the Club’s service activities, a sewing machine was presented to a beneficiary to support self-employment and economic independence.

Immediate Past President Ln. C. Mangala presided.

First Vice-District Governor Ln. T. Narayanaswamy was the guest of honour.
