Liquor ban during Jathra

To prevent any untoward incidents from happening during Sri Bangimaramma Jathra to be held at Hedathale village in Doddakaulande hobli of Nanjangud taluk, Deputy Commissioner Abhiram G. Sankar has banned the sale, supply and transportation of liquor at Hedathale village from 6am on Mar. 27 to    8 am on Mar.30. The Deputy Commissioner has also ordered closure of all liquor shops, bar and restaurants, MSIL liquor outlets in Hedathale village limits, according to a press release.
