Mysuru: Ln. R. Ramesh Kumar has been honoured with the Excellent Zone Chairperson Award for the Lionistic Year 2025-26 in recognition of his outstanding leadership and dedicated community service through Lions Clubs International.

The prestigious award was presented to him by Past District Governor Ln. K.L. Rajasekhara in the presence of District Cabinet Secretary Ln. Sunil Kumar, who appreciated his exceptional contribution to society and his commitment to humanitarian service.

Known for his selfless approach and passion for serving the community, Ln. Ramesh Kumar has successfully led several impactful service initiatives that have benefited  countless people.

Apart from his social service, Ln. Ramesh Kumar is also an accomplished cricketer. He previously led the Mysore Cricket Academy and has represented the Mysore Zone and various other competitive cricket teams at different levels, earning recognition for his sporting achievements as well.
