Loan facility for Backward Classes: Applications invited

Mysuru: The D. Devaraj Urs Backward Classes Development Corporation has invited applications from candidates belonging to backward communities for availing various benefits extended by the Corporation for the year 2019-20.

The facilities are extended under Chaitanya Sahayadhana Yojane, D. Devaraj Urs Self-employment Scheme, micro-financing, loans and subsidy for traditional craftsmen and those engaged in occupational jobs, interest-free student loans for pursuing higher education in foreign Universities and Ganga Kalyana Yojane.

The applicants, belonging to Backward Class Categories – 1, 2A, 3A and 3B (barring Vishwakarma and sub-castes, Uppara community and its sub-sects, Ambiga community and its sub-sects and religious minorities) with annual family income not exceeding Rs.40,000 for rural applicants and not exceeding Rs.55,000 for urban applicants. Also, applicants must be in the age group of 18 to 55 years.

The prescribed application forms at free of cost can be collected from the District Office of D. Devaraj Urs Backward Class Development Corporation in Mysuru or at the Backward Classes Welfare Department in all taluks or visit website www.karnataka.gov.in/dbcdc.
