The D. Devaraj Urs Backward Classes Development Corporation has invited online applications from eligible students of Backward Classes belonging to categories 1, 2A, 3A and 3B, for availing loan facility for higher education (Master’s degree, Ph.D, Post-doctoral degree in Engineering & Technology, Management & Commerce, Science and Technology,  Agriculture & Allied Sciences/Technology, Medicine, Humanities and Social Sciences) in overseas Universities.

The applicants should have secured admission in a foreign University listed within QS World Ranking 1,000. The applicants should attach a copy of the offer letter of the foreign University in which they have secured admission, a copy of Passport, Visa and Air ticket.

The annual income of the family of the applicant student should not exceed Rs.15 lakh. The upper age limit for Masters’ degree courses is 32 years and that for Ph.D courses is 35 years.
