Loan recovery agent cheats private bank of Rs. 10.13 lakh

Mysore/Mysuru: Kuvempunagar Police have registered a case against a loan recovery agent for allegedly cheating a private bank of Rs. 10.13 lakh. The accused loan recovery agent is 39-year-old Srinivasamurthy, a resident of Rajendranagar in city.

Team Lease Services Limited, a firm at Koramangala in Bengaluru, had given Srinivasamurthy, the contract to recover loans of the private bank. The accused, who had commenced the recovery process from Apr. 1, 2019, had recovered loans and had given fake NOC with fake signatures to those from whom he had recovered loans, thus cheating the bank of Rs. 10,13,094, according to the complaint lodged by Team Lease Services Limited’s Executive Venkatakrishna Sandesh.

Kuvempunagar Police, who have registered a case,  are investigating.
