Due to the second wave of COVID-19, as a precautionary measure, all public libraries have now been closed down, but the Department of Public Libraries is giving an opportunity for the public where interested readers can now download and log on to the mobile app e-sarvajanika granthalaya or digital library website of the department https://www.karnatakadigitalpubliclibrary.org/login to download and read the books online.

This year, Mysuru City Central Library and its branch libraries are celebrating World Book and Copyright Day in a simple and symbolic manner on Apr. 23.
