LPG leakage: Household articles gutted in fire

Mysuru: The roof of a house was blown away and household articles were gutted in a fire and explosion caused due to LPG leakage at Janathanagar 8th Cross here last morning. Luckily, no one was injured in the incident.

The incident took place at the house of Mahadev, who had taken the house on rent.

It is learnt that LPG began to leak on Wednesday night itself and on Thursday morning, fire erupted resulting in an explosion and household articles being destroyed  in fire. The occupants of the house, who noticed the fire, ran out of the house and thus saved their lives. Saraswathipuram Fire Station personnel, who rushed to the spot, managed to douse the fire and prevented it from spreading further.
