Mysuru:  Rowdy-sheeters from various Police limits were paraded before the City Crime Branch (CCB) officials in city yesterday on account of enforcement of strict poll code  of conduct for Lok Sabha polls-2019.

Over 31 rowdy-sheeters including city’s Manjesha,  Srinivas aka Kunda Seena, Hemanthkumar, Abid Pasha aka Abid, Bharath alias Balu, Ashoka alias Pal Singh, Bharath alias Bhatta,  Swamy alias Ami, Ravi, Ashoka, Satish alias Palahalli Satisha, Bhagya alias Bhagyamma, Karthik alias K.K, Samson alias Sanju, Rakesh alias Raki, Kumar alias Kapali, Ayub Khan alias Gas Ayub, Hamid Khan, Mohammed Hanif, Shivanishchith, Ramesh alias Palli were paraded.

Speaking to Star of Mysore, CCB ACP V. Mariyappa said that they warned the rowdy-sheeters not to indulge in any illegal activities, besides not to threaten and influence voters during the elections. Instructions were also given to all Sub-Division Police Stations to detain 14 rowdysheeters for continuing their criminal activities despite warning.  

The Parade was held as per the directions from City Police Commissioner K.T. Balakrishna and DCP (Law & Order) Muthuraju. Yesterday’s parade was supervised by Police Inspectors C. Kirankumar, Harishbabu, N.G. Krishnappa, Anti-Rowdy Squad staff Raju, Srinivasprasad, M.R. Ganesh, Purushotham, Joseph Noronha, Arunkumar and others.
