Lucky escape for passengers as mini bus rams into road divider

Mysuru: Nearly 30 passengers of a mini bus had a lucky escape, when the vehicle rammed into a concrete road divider near Uttanahalli Junction on Mysuru-Nanjangud Road here last evening.

It is reported that about 30 persons, residents of Gundlupet had gone to Adichunchanagiri in the mini bus and were travelling back via Nanjangud Road in Mysuru, when the driver lost control of the mini bus and rammed into the road divider before coming to a halt, besides disrupting traffic on the busy road for sometime.

K.R. Traffic Inspector Nagegowda and staff, who rushed to the spot on receiving information, made way for smooth flow of traffic.
