M.B. Patil accuses Modi Govt. of making false promises on job creation

June 10, 2022

Mysore/Mysuru: Accusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi of making false promises on job creation, KPCC Campaign Committee President and former Minister M.B. Patil said that the BJP was misleading youths on job opportunities and as well as communalising the minds of the people through false propaganda.

Addressing a press meet here yesterday, M.B. Patil maintained that youths were not getting jobs and unemployment was increasing by alarming proportions. Asserting that educated voters have realised the follies of the BJP Government, he said that the people are comparing the rule of the present BJP and the previous Congress administrations.

Contending that it was the Congress which made the country self-reliant in all aspects, Patil charged the Union Government of unnecessarily privatising Public Sector Companies. Pointing out that it was the Congress which was responsible for the establishment of many reputed institutions across the country, he said that now, many posts were ling vacant in Public Sector Companies and the youths were getting restless over rising unemployment. He reiterated that PM Modi had utterly failed in keeping his promise of creating 2 crore jobs a year.

Patil appealed the educated voters to judiciously exercise their franchise and vote for Congress candidate Madhu G. Madegowda. MLA and former Minister Krishna Byregowda also addressed the press meet.

Maintaining that a good number of small and medium scale industries shut down during the COVID crisis, Byregowda alleged that investors were moving out of the State due to communal and divisive politics of the BJP.

KPCC Working President R. Dhruvanarayan, MLAs Anil Chikkamadu and Dr. Yathindra Siddharamaiah, City Congress President R. Murthy, District President Dr. B.J. Vijaykumar and others were present.
