M.G. Road needs attention

November 26, 2017

Sir,

Of late,  we find that the M.G. Road (Vani Vilasa Road),  especially the stretch between Madhava Rao Circle  (VV Market Circle) and the Radisson Blu Hotel, is left uncleaned for days together leaving the whole area in a state of  unhealthy and ugly atmosphere besides unbearable stench.

Added to the left-overs of the daily shandy, behind the Exhibition, debris of all sorts are just dumped here and it is there for everybody to see.  The water-logging on the right side of the road due to the recent heavy rains is yet to dry up and consequently this has become a very good ground for mosquito breeding.

If a main road in the heart of the city is left in such a state, it may be difficult to regain the CLEAN CITY tag this time also.  May I request the MCC authorities to look into this and take prompt action?
