Mysuru: Alhaj M. Ghouse Baig (84), a wrestler, former President of Thafuz Khabrasthan Managing Committee, Mysuru and a resident of S.A. Layout in Rajivnagar, passed away following brief illness at a private hospital in city yesterday.

He leaves behind three sons including former Mayor Anwar Baig, four daughters, sons-in-law including Hon. Secretary of Jamiya Tippu Arabic College at Srirangapatna Syed Younus, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Namaz-e-Janaza was performed yesterday after Maghrib Salath (Dusk prayer) at Masjid Meer Hayath Saheb on K.T. Street in Mandi Mohalla, followed by the burial at the Muslim Burial Grounds near Tipu Circle.
