M.S. Narayana Murthy (90) passed away on Saturday evening at his residence in 2nd Main, 7th Cross Saraswathipuram.

Initially working at the Bangalore Press as its Secretary, he shifted to Mysuru later. After working as an Accountant in Sarada Vilas College, he was an active member of Ganabharathi Music Sabha and served as its Treasurer for nearly two decades.

He leaves behind four sons, daughters-in-law, grandchildren and a host of relative and friends.

Cremation took place at the foot of Chamundi Hill yesterday afternoon.
