M.T. Gangappa, retired Head Master and father of Dr. M.G. Manjunath, Professor at Kuvempu Institute of Kannada Studies, passed away yesterday afternoon.

He leaves behind one son, one daughter, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were held at Kambegowdanapalya in Magadi taluk this morning.
