Mysore/Mysuru: The city’s Bettada Balaga Charitable Trust will be conducting Mahabhisheka to Nandi Statue atop Chamundi Hill at 9 am tomorrow (Nov.13).
Announcing this at a press meet here yesterday, Trust Secretary N. Govinda said that the Trust has been conducting the Mahabhisheka for the past 16 years and tomorrow is the 17th one. The Mahabhisheka will take place in the presence of Suttur Mutt Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji, Adichunchanagiri Shakha Mutt Seer Sri Somanathananda Swamiji and Hosamutt Seer Sri Chidananda Swamiji.He further said that as a stretch of the road leading to Nandi Statue atop the Hill is under repair, the devotees can take Chamundi Hill road from Tavarekatte or Uttanahalli sides.
Trust President S. Prakashan, Treasurer V.N. Sundar, Trustee Shivakumar were present at the press meet.
