Mahalakshmamma (73), wife of Srikantaiah, former Director of Mysore Merchant Co-operative Bank and former President of Arya Samaja, Mysuru, passed away at a private hospital this morning following brief illness.

She leaves behind her husband, three sons, a daughter and host of relatives and friends.

Her body will be kept at her residence located at 1st Cross, Anikethana Road, Kuvempunagar, between 3 pm and 6 pm. Last rites will be held at the burial ground in Kuvempunagar today.
