Mahayogi Vemana, Nijasharana Sri Ambigara Chowdaiah Jayantis

The Department of Kannada and Culture and the District Administration have organised Mahayogi Sri Vemana Jayanti and Nija Sharana Sri Ambigara Chowdaiah  Jayanti  on Jan. 21 at 10.30 am at Kalamandira in city. The programme will be inaugurated by District Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa.  Chamaraja MLA K. Harishgowda will preside.

MPs Pratap Simmha, V. Sreenivasa Prasad and Sumalatha Ambarish, MLAs Tanveer Sait, G.T. Devegowda,  D. Ravishankar, Darshan Dhruva-narayana, C. Anil Kumar, G.D. Harish Gowda and T.S. Srivatsa and MLCs A. H. Vishwanath, C.N. Manjegowda, Marithibbegowda, Dr. D. Thimmaiah and Madhu G. Madegowda will participate as chief guests at the celebrations, according to a press release from Assistant Director of Kannada and Culture Department.
