‘Mahila Yaksha Sambhrama’ to conclude today

Mysore/Mysuru: Women Yakshagana artistes of Karnataka Mahila Yakshagana, Bengaluru, presented ‘Shiva Panchakshari Mahime’ during the inaugural day of the two-day Mahila Yaksha Sambhrama, organised by Innovative Mysuru and Kannada Sahitya Kalakoota, Mysuru, at Mini Theatre in Kalamandira premises on Hunsur Road in Mysuru, yesterday.

Entrepreneur G.M. Hegde from Chamarajanagar inaugurated the event in the presence of Yakshagana Scholar Dr. Kabbinale Vasanth Bharadwaj, Innovative Mysuru President and Yakshagana exponent G.S. Bhatta, patron Raghuram Vajpayee, industrialist A.P. Nagesh, Yakshagana Guru Srinivas Sasthan, Innovative Mysuru Treasurer Dr. S.N. Hegde, Secretary Heramba Bhatta, Co-operative Jagadish Hebbar, Kannada Sahitya Kalakoota President M. Chandrashekar and others.

The Mahila Yaksha Sambhrama concludes today with the staging of Yakshagana ‘Chakravyuha’ at 6 pm.
