Maid accused of stealing jewellery from house

Mysuru: Accusing the maid of stealing jewellery from the house, a house owner has lodged a complaint at Jayalakshmipuram Police Station in this regard.

M.S. Revathi, a resident of Jayalakshmipuram had hired 60-year-old Mangalamma of Manjunathapura as a maid about a year ago to look after her daughter Sriranjini who had delivered a child. Mangalamma used to take care of Sriranjini and her son from morning to evening and later go home.

During her working days from December 2017 to August 2018, Mangalamma had allegedly stolen 44 grams gold ornaments and 200 grams silver articles, according to the complaint.

Jayalakshmipuram Police, have registered a case.
