Maid arrested for stealing gold jewellery from house

84 grams gold ornaments, 225 grams silver articles recovered

Mysuru:  Jayalakshmipuram Police, have arrested a house maid for stealing gold jewellery from the house she was working and have recovered 84 grams gold jewellery and 225 grams silver articles from her.

The arrested house maid is 45-year-old Mangalamma, a resident of Manjunathapura in Gokulam 4th Stage. Mangalamma, on August, 2018 has stolen the gold jewellery from the house of one M.S. Revathi in Jayalakshmipuram where she was working following which Revathi had lodged a complaint with Jayalakshmipuram Police.

The Police, who had registered a case in this regard, interrogated Mangalamma, during which she is said to have confessed of committing the theft.
