Make Karanji Lake Ticket Counter hassle-free

January 11, 2023

Sir,

We being the dwellers of Mysuru from past 10 years had never been to Karanji Lake in all these years but today since everything fell in place, we thought of going to the pristine lake and breathe in some fresh air.

Then we walked into the  ticket counter and to my utter shock they didn’t have a scanner to pay the entry ticket amount and when the money was provided to him, he didn’t want to take the Rs. 500 note and refused to accept stating it was fake.

They were not at all obliging and everything was going on at a snail’s pace. With all this experience I only wonder when a roadside fruit-seller can install a code scanner for his business transactions, why not a Park like this where there are ample walk-ins and people who look for  hassle-free payment on tickets.

Hope the officials concerned may someday do something about it.
