Mysuru: With the State BJP gearing up to organise ‘Mangaluru Chalo’ bike rally from Sept. 5 to 7, to condemn the killings of RSS workers and Hindu workers in coastal region and to press for imposing a ban on organisations such as PFI, KFD and SDPI, the KR Yuva Morcha hosted a preparatory meeting at Sri Rama Mandira near Ballal Circle in Krishnamurthypuram here yesterday.

Addressing the meeting, MP Pratap Simha, who is also the State BJP Yuva Morcha President, alleged that the State Government was patronising anti-national organisations such as PFI, KFD and SDPI which were allegedly involved in the killing of Hindu outfits members.

Accusing the Congress Government of utter failure in the maintenance of Law and order in the State, Simha said the ‘Mangaluru Chalo’ bike rally will be taken out from Mysuru, Bengaluru, Hubballi, Shivamogga and Chikkamagalur.

The bike rallies will converge at Mangaluru on Sept.7, where a massive public rally will take place in the afternoon.

The party workers from Mysuru district are asked to gather at Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple at the North Gate of the Palace at 10.30 am on Sept.6. The bike rally will pass through Hunsur, Periyapatna, Kushalnagar, Madikeri, Sullia, Puttur and B.C. Road to reach Mangaluru, he said. Pointing out that he himself will be leading the rally, Pratap Simha denounced the State Government’s plans to thwart the rally’s entry to Mangaluru.

Exhorting the party workers  not to get disheartened by such State Government’s plans, the MP said that the rallyists will stay in the houses of party workers if they are prevented from occupying the already booked choultries and halls.
