Malaysia ITF Men’s Tennis Tournament: Suraj, Prajwal Dev go down in qualifying round

Mysuru lads Suraj R. Prabodh and S.D. Prajwal Dev taking part in the Malaysia F2 Futures $15,000 ITF Men’s Tennis Tournament at Malaysia lost in the qualifying round in the singles event yesterday. Suraj lost in the final qualifying round to Netherlands Mark Dijkhuizen 6-4, 6-7 (5), 4-6. In the second round Suraj had scored a good win over Prajwal 2-6, 6-4, 7-5 to progress further. In the first round, Suraj had beaten Daniel Du Tout (RSA) 6-2, 6-2, while Prajwal Dev got past Grigory Lomakin (Kaz) 6-3, 6-0.
