Male Lion-tailed Macaque ‘Raja’ dies at Mysuru Zoo

Mysore/Mysuru: A male Lion-tailed Macaque named ‘Raja’ and aged 17.5 years, died at Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens (Mysuru Zoo) on Sept. 24 due to multi-organ failure.

‘Raja’ was acquired from Arignar Anna Zoological Park, Chennai on 17.6.2017. The Lion-tailed Macaque was one of the attractions of Mysuru Zoo.
