‘Malenadu-Karavali Pakotsava’ in city on Jan.5 and 6

Mysuru: Havika Sangha, Bogadi 2nd Stage, in association with Raghavendra Puja Bhandar, has organised ‘Malenadu Karavali Pakotsava’ at Ursu Boarding School premises beside Maharaja’s College Grounds here on Jan.5 and 6.

Disclosing this at a press meet at Pathrakartara Bhavan here yesterday, the Sangha President Lakshminarayana Hegde said that the Food Festival would be inaugurated by MLA S.A. Ramdas on Jan.5 at 4 pm with Corporation Bank Managing Director Ganapathy and District Brahmana Sangha President D.T. Prakash as guests of honour.

He explained that about 40 stalls would provide Karvali delicacies to tickle the taste buds of foodies. He added that a folk dance followed by a humour programme by Dr. Krishnegowda and Gangavathi Pranesh is organised at 5 pm. Chess Tournament, Drawing Contest for kids and other games would be held on Jan. 6 from 8.30 am onwards.
