Man among three missing

Mysuru: In separate incidents, two women and a man have been reported missing from T. Narasipur and from city.

In the first incident, a 27-year-old woman, who left her house on Aug.8 in an autorickshaw for work has since gone missing.

The missing woman is Rathnamma, wife of Dileep and a resident of Kodagahalli in T.Narasipur. According to the complaint lodged by her husband with Bannur Police, Rathnamma, who works at a garment factory in Srirangapatna, left for work in an autorickshaw on Aug.8 and has not returned till date.

In the second incident, 20-year-old Ashwini, wife of Manjunath, who left the Paying Guest (PG) accommodation in Saraswathipuram, where she was staying has since gone missing from Aug.8 about 6.30 am. Ashwini is 5.2 ft. tall, fair complexioned, speaks Kannada and was wearing a blue colour top and white leggings at the time of going missing. 

According to the complaint lodged by Manjunath, a resident of K.R. Mohalla and a garments trader, he had married Ashwini two years ago and theirs was a love marriage. Manjunath has further stated that as Ashwini was suffering from health problems, she was housed in a PG at Saraswathipuram. But on Aug.8, when he called Ashwini, her phone was switched off and when he went to the PG and enquired about her, he was told that Ashwini left the PG at about 6.30 am along with her luggage saying that her father had passed away. 

When Manjunath called Ashwini’s mother over the phone and enquired, he came to know that Ashwini had not gone to her mother’s house, following which he lodged a missing complaint.

In the third incident, a 55-year-old man has gone missing from the city. Mujahid Ahmed, 55, a resident of fourth cross, eighth main, Rajivnagar, who left his house on the morning of Aug.2 has gone missing, according to a complaint lodged by his nephew at Udayagiri Police Station.

Mujahid is 5’7” in height, oval faced, medium built and oily red in complexion. He speaks Urdu and Kannada languages. Those having any clues about the said missing person may call Udayagiri Police on Ph: 0821-2418309 / 2418339.
