Man arrested for selling fake Railway e-tickets

Mysuru:  The Mysuru Railway Police have arrested a man on charges of selling fake Railway e-tickets and have seized a computer, mobile phone, cash and other items used for the crime.

The arrested has been identified as 33-year-old Jayanth Kumar, son of Somashekar and a resident of Maruti Layout in Hunsur taluk. The accused runs a Xerox and mobile currency business at S.V.S. Complex on Gokula Road in Hunsur and had opened 14 fake IRCTC accounts and was indulging in the crime since seven years.

RPF Assistant Commandant Bagor, Railway Police Inspector Shivaraju, ASI Prakash and staff Ramesh, Nagaraju, Ravikumar and Manjunath took part in the operation.
