Mysore/Mysuru: In a ghastly incident, an unidentified middle-aged man was found bludgeoned to death on Uma Talkies Road near Gandhi Square in the heart of the city early this morning.

The man, aged about 45 years and whose identity is yet to be established, was found lying in a pool of blood after being bludgeoned with concrete blocks by miscreants and the incident may have been occurred between last midnight and the wee hours of today. 

Lashkar Police Inspector P.P. Santosh and staff who rushed to the spot upon receiving information, conducted mahazar and shifted the body to MMC&RI mortuary for post-mortem.

Lashkar Police have registered a case and are investigating.
