Man clubbed to death near Mandakalli

Mysore/Mysuru: A 48-year-old man, who was riding a bike was waylaid by miscreants and allegedly clubbed to death near Mandakalli on Saturday morning. The deceased has been identified as Marikotegowda of Mahadevapura near  J.P. Nagar in city.

A native of Mandakalli, Marikotegowda was proceeding on his bike from Mahadevapura towards Mandakalli at about 7.30 am, when miscreants waylaid him and clubbed him to death with logs near the canal, about 500 mts from Mandakalli and fled from the spot.

Superintendent of Police (SP) C.B. Ryshyanth and other Police staff visited the spot and conducted preliminary investigation. 

According to Mysuru Rural Police, there were three miscreants as told by locals and it is to be known why they murdered him.

Mysuru Rural Police have registered a case and are investigating.
