Mysuru: A man, said to be an alcoholic and reportedly suffering from liver related problems, committed suicide by consuming poison at his residence in Mahadeshwara Layout in Vijayanagar here on Tuesday night. The deceased     is Ravi (40).

It is learnt that, Ravi, who was addicted to liquor, had damaged his liver and the doctors had told him that his liver was completely damaged and treatment was not possible.

Depressed over this, Ravi mixed poison with liquor and consumed it to end his life, according to Police.

A case has been registered at Vijayanagar Police Station in this regard.
