Mysore/Mysuru: A 40-year-old man has committed suicide by hanging self at his house on Saturday night. 

The deceased is Mahesh, a resident of Gandhinagar in city. A construction worker, he was said to be addicted to liquor and was rendered jobless due to COVID-induced lockdown. Depressed over this, Mahesh reportedly hanged himself at his house on Saturday night, when his family members were away, according to Police. A case has been registered at N.R. Police Station.
