Man commits suicide as friends fail to return loans

Mysuru: A man allegedly committed suicide in city on Sunday by hanging self after his friends failed to return the loans given by him.

The deceased has been identified as Girish (44), son of Chandrashekar and a resident of Paduvarahalli in city.

Girish, who was a small time financier, had given loans to his friends. Though Girish had asked his friends to return the money many times, his friends reportedly failed to return the loan resulting in Girish suffering loss, forcing him to take the   extreme step.

On Sunday morning, Girish went to his room on the first floor and committed suicide by hanging self.

Jayalakshmipuram Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
