Man dies after falling from tree

Pandavapura: A 31-year-old man died after falling from a banyan tree at Vaddarahalli village in the taluk on Thursday.

The deceased is Sunil, son of Shivanna of the village. He had climbed the banyan tree grown in his farm land to chop leaves for goats when he slipped and died on the spot.

The jurisdictional Police, who rushed to the spot, conducted mahazar, shifted the body to a hospital where post-mortem was conducted and the body was handed over to the family members.
